For the temporary structure at the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Belgian pavilion had to be enclosed by a wall made of scaffolding tubes and walkway gratings. The wall was 6 meters high and had to withstand extreme wind loads. By giving the wall a certain thickness (a walkway), a horizontal truss was created.
