Aside from the cast-in-place concrete floors, which span relatively large distances, the roof is particularly interesting from a structural perspective. To realize this distinctive roof form, several steel profiles were positioned along the lines of potential buckling. These steel profiles are supported on the side walls on one side and on a cantilevered concrete beam of the central volume on the other. The remaining roof surface is filled with timber joists placed between the steel profiles.
