Bulk-architecten designed a school building in the 20th-century belt of Antwerp, located on a street corner. The complex is composed of three volumes, each with a distinct building typology. The kindergarten classrooms are situated in the articulated volumes along the quiet Fort-III Street. The primary school classrooms are positioned above the cafeteria on the side of Borsbeeksesteenweg. Between these, at the corner, are located the entrance area, the sports hall, the administration office, and the teachers’ lounge. For this project, a classical structure of concrete, timber, steel, and masonry was chosen. This is a Design & Build project.
