The dwelling is located on an extremely narrow plot, situated between two existing buildings. Both party walls are load-bearing and support timber floor structures. The front façade functions primarily as an envelope rather than a load-bearing element. The sawtooth roof was conceived as a third façade. A central double-height space incorporating the staircase provides daylight and natural ventilation at the heart of the house. The staircase and accompanying walkways form the connective element between the various rooms and are entirely constructed using CLT panels.
