The extension features a two-level steel roof. The lower roof is suspended by a tension rod connected to a column embedded in the party wall. The upper roof ensures that the top of this column is held in place. As a result, the entire structure is suspended from the party wall, allowing the glass façade to remain completely free of any structural elements.
